General body meeting, called by the president on 20.02.2014

A meeting of the General Body of SPWCCI was held on 20th  February in APWA Multan. The main agenda was to discuss the affiliation of SPWCCI with APWA. Sharing information about WEXNET exhibition and planning, how to go about it. Mrs Fatima Leghari presided over the meeting, alongwith Mrs. Tahira Zaffar Sheikh, chairperson of APWA. Fariha Munir Shah, Ambreen Khan, Humaira Batool also attended the event.

The process started with the recitation of holy Quran. Important points of the meeting:
  •     The participation in WEXNET exhibition was discussed. Its timings, other important information regarding the event was conveyed to the participants.

         Fatima Leghari shared the information that a Saudi Princess is coming for inauguration of WEXNET. 

    A common resolution was passed     that members should not give discounts on their products at the exhibition. Their prices should remain fixed during the entire exhibition.

         Members were asked their suggestions about the preparation of a slide show for SPWCCI in WEXNET, 2014. 
  •    Also president Fatima handed over the letters of appointment to the executive members of APWA.

    She went on to discuss with members, what they should do inorder to build APWA      (All Pakistan Women Association) like a new Organization. All  the members present at the occasion, inspected the site, which is  centrally located and is owned by APWA, to consider how are they going to start working there. 

    Fatima stressed on the issue that SPWCCI members should come together to make APWA a success, as the worked for their chamber.

    Mrs. Tahira Zaffar, chair person of APWA said that Fatima Leghari, did a lot to for APWA. She said all credit goes to Fatima for her strong efforts to join     SPWCCI and APWA together. 

    The formation of committees for APWA was also brought into consideration.       

    A young entrepreneur of SPWCCI, who is now handed over the role of finance secretary of APWA, Ms.     Seerat raised points about the regular source of income in APWA.     Filza Akbar suggested that charity work should be encouraged there too.

    Fatima Leghari also announced that      Masooma Sibtain  is also being taken on board of APWA as executive member. She expressed her hope that Masooma will prove to be as great a support as she is for SPWCCI.

The Blue fair 2017

Right (below) The group photo Women's chamber of commerce and industry Multan has this honour that it introduced 'Blue fair'. An event, which is being organized every year, in collaboration with TDAP, for almost five years now. It serves as a plaform to bring female entrepreneurs together from all over Pakistan to exhibit their products under one roof. And with each passing year, it is getting beigger and better. Like previous years, in 2017 also, it was planned to co-incide with 'international women's day' in March. But due to some restrictions in district administration of Multan, it was delayed till mid of April.  From 13th to 15th April, the city of saints witnessed this jubilation of 'women empowerment' at Shahjahan banquet hall, with around hundered stalls set up by women business chambers...

Seerat Fatima, Mrs. Naseem Raheem the president, Mr. Imtiaz Wahla, Mr. Kamran Khan , Farah Saqib and Fariha Munir Mrs. Naseem Raheem, the new president of women's chamber of Commerce, Multan division is a very progressive person and believes in working hand in hand with other organisations.
