WLTP 2018 by USAID, final round

Selfie with participants, organizers and the instructor Ms. Linda Shcmid Women's chamber of commerce and industry (WCCIM) is proud of its competent members and is truly proud of the fact, it provides its members platform, through which, they get  opportunities of being part of different prestigious training programs at national and international level. WLTP; 'Women's leadership in Trade policy development program', was initiated  by USAID for  women's chambers  in January 2018. It started with rountable meetings in Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi.  Its second phase occured in Serena, Islamabad in July. Third and final round took place in Pearl Continental Lahore. Nowadays, competent and accomplished daughters of the nation, like Masooma Sibtain are keeping the flag high. Although, Masooma is the current Vice President for Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry but WCCI-Multan is proud of her, as she actually belongs to this platform. She is among its founder members and has also served as president there. Her eloquence and passionate attachment to this cause, attributes her the role of a permanent spokesperson and advocate. Masooma was recently invited at the 10th World Chamber Congress held from 19th to 21st September at Sydney, Australia. Masooma was the speaker from Pakistan and gave a presentation on the Work Place Diversity. She shared her experiences of Women Entrepreneurs all over Pakistan. Group selfie with the trainers Mr. Hammad Siddiqui and Mr. Huzaifa Shabbir The next round of  Women Leadership in Trade Policy (WLTP) by USAID,  that WCCIM   became a part of, in January 2017- took place on 26th-28th July, the same year, in Serena hotel Islamabad. Participants selected from the workshops in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi were invited to take part, with complete provision of lodgings at the same hotel. From Multan, Masooma Sibtain, Filza Akbar, Novaira Fahad and Fariha Munir were invited. As Masooma and Novaira were out of country for summer vacations, only Fariha and Filza were able to attend these workshops. The cynosure of this program was, enhancing knowledge and skills on planning active and effective advocacy campaigns. Also to introduce some of the best practices under advocacy action planning. Eid-ul-Fitar Party

Women's chamber of commerce Multan, living up to its tradition, also provided its members an opportunity to meet and greet eachother at an Eid Milan party. The beautiful event was arranged on 5th August at Shangrilla Chinese Multan. The president of WCCIM Mrs. Naseem Raheem is quite popular among the ladies of Multan for her love for fun filled activities. She has also served as program secretary and then Secretary of the ladies club as well. Decades later, people still remember that time for the skits, variety programs and other splendid functions she organized.
