Global Entrepreneurship Week is celebrated around the world by business groups, organizations, which create jobs, bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and work for human welfare. During one week each November, GEW organizes activities to inspire people to experiment their potential in the entrepreneurial world.

Following the suit, WCCIM also organized an event in collaboration with IMS department of Bahaudin Zakria University Multan.  The agenda was to encourage and inspire students to opt for entrepreneurship in the future. A meeting with new VC, Dr. Tahir Amin was also scheduled on the same day.

On 19th November, a group of members, headed by the president Mrs. Razia Shah, Vice president Seerat Fatima, Ambreen Abbass, Khushnood Naeem, Fara Bashir, Fariha Munir Shah, Filza Akbar and Novaira Fahad from WCCIM, reached Bahahudin Zakria university at 10.30 am. Filza Akbar was first to address the audience after tilawat-e-Quran and naat by the students of the department. Filza Akbar delivered an excellent presentation about WCCIM and its engagements over the years.

Seerat Fatima was next to speak. She highlighted the advantages of being self employed and entrepreneurship by narrating her personal experiences. Novaira Fahad also conveyed similar empiricism. Ambreen Abbass, Fariha Munir and Farah Bashir also addressed the gathering.

The president WCCIM was last to speak.  She encouraged the students to brainstorm and bring unique ideas to life, put them to practice and provide chances of employing other people, instead of wasting time, looking up for  jobs. She also admired the efforts of Ms. Roma Durrani for bringing WCCIM and department of IMS together and expressed her hope this collaboration will go a long way, as this department teaches business skills and members of WCCIM implement it. A session of cross questioning also took place. Filza, Seerat, Ambreen and Novaira, brilliantly answered the queries by the students.

Later, entire team of members were taken for a meeting with the new Vice chancellor of BZU. After introducing all the members, the president Mrs. Razia Shah congratulated the honourable VC for his new appointment and laid emphasis on the development of a healthy bond between university and women's chamber.

Vice chancellor Mr. Tahir Amin reciprocated the feelings. He admired the fact that women of this area have progressed so much and are playing a significant role in the society. He wished them, best of luck and promised cooperation when required. All the members thanked him for taking time out for this meeting out of his busy schedule.
