Women's chamber of commerce and industry Multan, was honoured to receive UBG (United Business Group) in the city of saints. The purpose of this trip by UBG was aimed to build alliances for upcoming FPCCI elections. And WCCIM has always supported this group and will continue doing it in the future. As they have always been a great support for this chamber.

Inorder to introduce members UBG with members of WCCIM, this chamber organized a breakfast on 3rd November, at Ramada hotel Multan.  Newly elected president of the chamber Mrs. Razia Shah, alongwith the former presidents Masooma Sibtain and Humera Batool welcomed the guests with bouquets of flowers. Filza Akbar, former vice president Ambreen Abbass Khan, present vice president Seerat Fatima was also present at the occasion.

Secretary General WCCIM, Mr. Saeed Agha started the formal session with tilawat of Quran. Masooma Sibtain welcomed the audience and thanked the guests for accepting their hospitality. She pledged alliance with UGB on behalf of all WCCIM members. Madam Shirin also spoke at the occasion and emphasized over the importance of mutual co-operation between different chambers. Mrs. naheed Masood also addressed the gathering and brought up different thought provoking issues.

Mr. Iftikhar Ali Malik, vice president SAARC admired the efforts of WCCIM and specially the hard work and commitment by Masooma Sibtain, who serves as the backbone of chamber. Also present at the event was Mr. S. M. Muneer, who also appreciated this women's chamber and the way it has emerged among all the other female chambers within Pakistan and South Asia. Mr. Ikhtiar Baig expressed his amazement over the talent he witnessed in the area and showed his interest to provide them bigger, better platforms to prove themselves. Few other guests also addressed and promised similar kind of support.

Ambreen Khan, Uzma Burana, Mrs. Naseem Raheem spoke to the gathering, on behalf of the chamber. Mrs. Zahida Khakwani, former president Mrs. Zara Khitran, Farah Saqib and Fariha Munir Shah from WCCIM, were also present at the event. The necessity and frequency of such event, meetings and other interactions were greatly emphasized.

At the end all the guests were entertained with a formal breakfast and it ended with a group photo session.

Launch of WCCIM value added membership cards on women's day 2019

Group photo The new president of women's chamber Multan, WCCIM, Ms.  Seerat Fatima  passionately follows membership drive of   this platform for female entrepreneurs . Not only she wants an increase in the number of members, but is doing her best to add advantages to their membership scheme as well.  The day she took over as president, she proposed her idea of value added membership cards for WCCIM members, which would get them discounts at different places. Vice president  Novaira Fahad  went on to work hard to get famous restaurants,  parlors and grocery stores on the panel. Supported by the senior vice president  Uzma Burana  and others, now these membership cards are ready. Being a believer of women empowerement, there could not be a better day to launch this project, other than ' international women's day'. SPWCCI members together with guests from Peshawar    Women Business Development Center Peshawar (WBDCP), as part of its business development initiatives, organizes exposure visits to larger markets. The main purpose of these visits is to establish linkages of women entrepreneurs with stake holders from other markets including; local business people, skilled craftsmen, raw material suppliers, whole sellers and retailers. Women Business Development Center Peshawar in collaboration with Pakistan Transition Initiative  organized a two week Business Exposure Visit for twenty Women Entrepreneurs to four cities of Punjab including Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan & Bahawalpur for linkage meetings, capacity building and market exposure.
