Women's chamber of commerce and industry Multan has always celebrated 'women's day' with great enthusiasm. Over the years, this celebration of womanhood has taken up the shape of a great festival, named 'Blue Fair'. This year, it was again planned in the month of March but due to some district administrative requirements, the event will now take place on 13th to 15th April 2017. Nonetheless, the new president of WCCIM, Mrs. Naseem Raheem was determined to keep the spirit of the day alive. So, she arranged another program to mark the day.

A get together of WCCIM was organised at 'ladies club Multan', on 8th March 2017. It also included a very useful lecture on the topic 'a healthy woman is a successful woman', delivered by, Dr. Huma Athar, a well known female doctor from Multan. The comparing was done by the vice president Filza Akbar. After recitation of holy Quran, the honourable guest speaker was invited on stage.

Dr. Huma Athar said, Pakistani women from every walk of life are too busy taking care of others around them. Many of them ignore their own selves. Some of them deprive themselves of nutritious food and remain on the diet of leftovers by the family. Dr. Huma, went
on to describe, how even the lady doctors ignore their own health. It ultimately results in different kinds of ailments and sufferings. She emphasised that women should adopt a healthy lifestyle and must take care of themselves. It will not only prevent them from getting sick but will also improve their attitude towards others in the society.

After the lecture, the president Mrs. Naseem Raheem thanked the guests and invited patron in chief to address the gathering. Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar also thanked all those present and admired the lecture and its significance. She said, indeed 'women can not take care of those around them, till they are healthy and robust. Our society can only be healthy, when its women are healthy.'

It was followed by a token of appreciation for the guest speaker, Dr. Huma Athar. A special cake was ordered for the event with WCCIM logo on it. Before the tea, a cake cutting ceremony took place. The patron in chief, Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar and Mrs. Naseem Raheem cut the cake together. Mrs. Fariha Munir, Mrs. Humera Batool, Mrs. Ambreen Khan, Mrs. Rehana Khwaja and Farah Saqib were also present at the occasion with many others.

And now folks! Get ready for the awesomeness, as 'BLUE FAIR' is approaching. Where every year, female entrepreneurs from across the country gather with their products. So, be a part of it. It is going to take place from 13th April to 15th April, at Shahjahan banquet hall, near chungi No:9 Multan. Just, BE THERE!
