Meeting on Women's day by Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar.

On 8th March 2014, inorder to mark, ''international women's day'', a special meeting was called by the patron in chief of SPWCCI, Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar, at her residence. 

Convener media committee Fariha Munir Shah, President SPWCCI Fatima Leghari, senior vice president Ambreen Abbass Khan, alongwith those members, who are going to participate in upcoming exhibition 'Wexnet' attended this meeting. Including Filza Akbar, Shazia, Samina Waqar, Humera Batool, Seerat.


All the members seemed enthusiastic and determined about the upcoming events. One great news was about the launch of a separate blog, dedicated completely to the activities of SPWCCI, created by Fariha Munir Shah, whose efforts and dedication greatly admired by the patron in chief, Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar and all the members.

President SPWCCI, Fatima Leghari Khokar, provided an insight about the merger of APWA with SPWCCI. And how is she going it to a next level. She invited all the SPWCCI members to join APWA as well. So that by union of these two institutions, maximum benefit could be achieved. She also expressed that she is personally planning to conduct some workshops for the members. Out of which, she intends to split the amount raised by the fee collected from the participants in these workshops into two halves and donate one half to SPWCCI and other to APWA.

The Wexnet participants were also informed about the different events in the particular exhibition.

At the end, everybody expressed their thankfulness for the constant support provided by the patron in chief, Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar. Also, they prayed for the good health and prompt recovery of their most treasured and cherished member, Masooma Sibtain, who has recently been a little unwell due to overwork.

Lots of prayers and best wishes for all the members who are all geared up for Wexnet. Once again, gratitude for Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar for her support and patronage for institutions like SPWCCI. Thanks a lot.

Launch of WCCIM value added membership cards on women's day 2019

Group photo The new president of women's chamber Multan, WCCIM, Ms.  Seerat Fatima  passionately follows membership drive of   this platform for female entrepreneurs . Not only she wants an increase in the number of members, but is doing her best to add advantages to their membership scheme as well.  The day she took over as president, she proposed her idea of value added membership cards for WCCIM members, which would get them discounts at different places. Vice president  Novaira Fahad  went on to work hard to get famous restaurants,  parlors and grocery stores on the panel. Supported by the senior vice president  Uzma Burana  and others, now these membership cards are ready. Delegate from Peshawar.

SPWCCI members together with guests from Peshawar    Women Business Development Center Peshawar (WBDCP), as part of its business development initiatives, organizes exposure visits to larger markets. The main purpose of these visits is to establish linkages of women entrepreneurs with stake holders from other markets including; local business people, skilled craftsmen, raw material suppliers, whole sellers and retailers. Women Business Development Center Peshawar in collaboration with Pakistan Transition Initiative  organized a two week Business Exposure Visit for twenty Women Entrepreneurs to four cities of Punjab including Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan & Bahawalpur for linkage meetings, capacity building and market exposure.
