CIPE training workshop by Mr. Hammad Siddiqui & Huzaifa Shabbir

Women's chamber of commerce and industry Multan division (WCCIM) recently arranged training workshops for its members in collaboration with CIPE (Center for International Private Enterprisewhich is a non-profit affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. CIPE provides management assistance, practical experience, and financial support to local organizations to strengthen their capacity to implement democratic and economic reforms. 

On 2nd May 2015, Mr. Hammad Siddiqui, Deputy country Director (Pakistan) and Mr. Huzaifa Shabbir, two distinguished and highly professional trainers from
CIPE, presided over the occasion. Divided into two parts, these workshops were separately meant for training executive board members to provide them better understanding of running chamber as business and for ordinary members to help start and develop and strengthen their businesses.

This Training was conducted for the Executive Members of the Board  to remember them their responsibilities according to the Memorandum of the Chamber.

Although the first meeting was scheduled for 11 am in the morning and second at 2.15 pm, but due to flight delay the trainers reached around 2.45 pm. Without any delay, 
Mr Hammad Siddique jumped onto the 2nd session first, as its time had started. “ How to Start and Manage a Profitable Business” a very impressive topic. He used extremely impressive methods, involved and engaged all the participants through his interesting style. A Group Competition was carried out by him. He distributed them charts to explore and brain storm ideas about their business development. Mr. Huzaifa Shabbir Hussain also added extremely useful points in further explaining the topic. After this all the participants shared their views regarding boots of their business and new members were excited about the methods to start their new businesses. After the session, hi-tea was served for all the participants and they were awarded certificates for attending this training. After lunch, Mr Hammad Siddiqui conducted the second part of the training which was regarding Chambers management. Almost all the executive members were there and some active members of the Chamber were present there too. The trainer guided them how to make their Chamber Secretariat strong and reminded them their duties and responsibilities to boost up the Chamber . Certificates were awarded to the participants. The trainers were presented shields by the chamber. Mr. Hammad also presented a cheque, 
to the president of WCCI, a grant by CIPE to support the chamber. At the end a photo session took place in the beautiful lobby of Shahjehan Grill.
